This unit has an easy-mount installation, which side louvers for a safe installation - It is always refreshing to hear that there are no special tools needed to install your window air conditioner.
The quiet 3-speed cooling has an adjustable thermostat, a 8-way direction control, and an exhaust control and fan only setting for removing stale odors and bringing in fresh outdoor air through your window.
The easy access, up front filter helps remove dust and other foreign particles from the air. Just lift out for easy cleaning.
The unit has a 6 ft power cord that plugs into a standard 3 prong socket and saves energy with an EER rating of 9.8, and a power-saver control that automatically turns off the compressor and fan when the selected temperature is reached and turns them back on when needed.

Please keep these factors in mind: - The BTU is calculated for normal sun exposure, two normal-sized windows per room, and two people occupying the air conditioned area. Add 600 BTU for each additional person over two occupying that area.
- For best cooling, a slightly undersized unit (no more than 10% under) will result in greater dehumidifying efficiency as the unit will operate continuously, whereas larger unit will run intermittently.
- If the unit is to be used for nighttime cooling only, an air conditioner with up to 30% less capacity may be used.
- Add 4,000 BTU if the area to be cooled includes a kitchen.
- If the area to be cooled is over 2300 sq. ft., it is recommended that more than one unit be used.
