This window air conditioner is made for smaller room applications. It is the model CAE5M by Crosley and it puts out 5000 BTU per hour and cools an area up to 150 sq feet.The air conditioner has an easy-mount installation, which includes a side louvers for a safe installation - no special tools needed for your window or existing gap in the wall.
The quiet 2-speed cooling system has an adjustable thermostat, adjustable direction control, and a fan only setting if you want to use it to circulate fresh outdoor air.
The easy access, up front filter helps remove dust and other foreign particles from the air. Just lift out for easy cleaning. The unit has a 6 ft power cord and plugs into a standard 3 prong socket and saves energy with an EER rating of 9.7.

Please keep these factors in mind: - The BTU is calculated for normal sun exposure, two normal-sized windows per room, and two people occupying the air conditioned area. Add 600 BTU for each additional person over two occupying that area.
- For best cooling, a slightly undersized unit (no more than 10% under) will result in greater dehumidifying efficiency as the unit will operate continuously, whereas larger unit will run intermittently.
- If the unit is to be used for nighttime cooling only, an air conditioner with up to 30% less capacity may be used.
- Add 4,000 BTU if the area to be cooled includes a kitchen.
- If the area to be cooled is over 2300 sq. ft., it is recommended that more than one unit be used.
